Hi Joel, I was wondering if the spelling in your final paragraph above "in their sparkling towers of glass and STEAL" was a typo ... or something more deliberate? :)
Back in January 2025, I remember getting off the ferry from Colonia and wanting to visit La Boca before I left BA. I check the Google map and thought about an Uber or public transit and decided to hoof it from the ferry terminal in my flip flops and with my backpack. It was a bit of adventure criss-crossing the roads and constantly checking google to see if I was heading in the right direction. Walking through industrial/residential areas I was beginning to think I was the only Canadian to ever walk those streets... I kept going and eventually I made it to La Boca, where there was some kind of festival going on with tourists and people dancing in the streets. I was eventually lured into a restaurant that served up a massive beef sandwich, and fries that I could barely finish ...lucky I had a cold beer to wash it down. I don't think I was in the same place as Joel's video...but I do remember seeing ship docks and this giant gantry that sort of looked like it could have been a bridge.
Joel, enjoyed the video and reading the factual numbers about what Pres. Melei and his team have acheived. Seems to me , from the facts, is that he has distibuted the wealth of the nation across the population equally as he can. Destruction of creation. Its very hard to have peacefull feelings towards criminals in goverment and corporations whose main objective is to steal the working classe's and retired people's wealth, as well as the country's wealth.
Sounds like a great place to visit. That being said you can have my share of the ojos as long as you’ll share the malbec. Great wine when a zin isn’t necessary.

Yes, I noticed that too, and I'm betting that was an intentional typo.
It's how I would have written that too.

Hopefully, Argentina will be able to maintain this current prosperity, so that they never need another escape from the clutches of an evil government.

You are delivering the excitement of a new Argentina to your readers ...!!! 👏
Gorgeous video. And exciting statistics. Yet I recently read that Milei is in trouble politically. What’s your read, Joel?
