Yes Joel, the problem was never what is happening, but what the globalist wants us to believe. If you just keep the news off, and walk In nature everyday, you’ll see what is really happening, and how climate changes constantly. When working with all of your diverse colleagues, you’ll find that racism is another lie that they need you to believe. Sure, most people like to be with the same people who believe as they do, but tolerate others because we are just too busy for anything else. It’s always been the “Elite” with much too much time on their hands who create these imaginary problems for those who do not work, and have much too much time on their hands and fully consumed every single lie fed them. It’s always come down to ignorance and lack of knowledge that makes our world a dangerous place, and of course where and from whom you’re getting your lies from 🤔 Thank you as always Joel🙏

I guess this diatribe against the people who would impose their point of view on us was triggered by disappointment over the temperature of the ocean in the Greek isles, but one grows tired of it all. I am not persuaded by the Chicken Littles who claim the climate is changing because I drive an SUV, but I recognize that climate change is happening, has happened, and will happen forever. Can the UN, or the World Economic Forum, or John F. Kerry slow or stop it? No. Will they claim they can? If they can make money out of it, yes.

And that is the crux of it. Climate change people want two things: money and power. Same for the gender folks -- they will never change the sex of a person (XX vs. XY) -- but they will gladly take whatever money and/or power you offer if you try to buy them off.

And on and on, for whatever social problem that they can monetize.

Don't let them wear you down, Joel. They're aggressive, and insistent, but they're not serious.

In the 1300's Greenland was indeed green and Viking settlers were farming grain on approximately 300 farms. The climate was warmer 1000 years ago than today. Then the climate cooled again and the Nordic settlers had to abandon their farms. One thing we can be sure of is the climate is continually changing. The solar output of the sun, which is not static, is no doubt the main factor affecting the earth's climate.

As I have stated in the past, we have already had our 'global warming.' Remember when north america and europe were covered in glaciers, miles high in some places? If not, that's because it happened about 5,000 years ago. Scientists accept this, although their faulty timelines are much greater (due to dogma, they can't understand relatively short timelines). The glaciers melting, all without man's help, raised ocean levels dramatically. This is acknowledged, see https://hakaimagazine.com/news/memories-of-the-end-of-the-last-ice-age-from-those-who-were-there/, but is not yet the prevailing view - and probably never will be. As always, don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see.

Joel, best article I've seen on "climate change". Keep up the excellent reporting.

Imagine a world where I could not read anything about climate change. If no one writes or reports the drek, then it would go away, die, and cease to exist. Yes, hot and cold will exist just as xx / xy, but I will never again have to be subjected to the manic bull--t of the recent past. So please, journalists, ignore it and I promise it will go away.

The Sun runs the planet, not Goddess Greta, 'Private Jet' Kerry, 'Inconvenient Truth' Al, and all the other climate con artists. This has zero to do with the climate: it has everything to do with submission to the almighty 'State'. North of 70 and filled with rebellious Caledonian blood, I am not going to be told what to think, eat or say by these 'managerial morons'. As the good folk of Glasgow say - 'away and play in the traffic'.

Climate change, as regular as … changing seasons every year since creation. God help us during these disastrous times.

Good to see Scotland get a mention. I can confidently state we don't have climate here, we have weather.

This year pretty average so far. 3-4 dry, warmish (15-17°C) weeks in late Spring then rain, cloud and windy. It did pick up above 20°C this week at which point we had to shut everyone with ginger hair indoors for theiir own safety.

Glasgow Weather Scale

<0°C = Big jacket day

0 - 15°C = Summer

15 - 20°C = Taps Aff (the lower class male will wander the streets with his t-shirt or "top" off, usually tucked into the waist of his tracksuit bottoms)

>20°C = Gingers beware.

I’m on Naxos. The sea is refreshing. It’s getting quite hot, so it’s nice to be able to cool off. Apparently my home in France is also getting quite warm, and England is about to have a heatwave (ie temperatures might exceed 30•c 😂). And midsummer is 3 days away. Who’d have thunk it?

Yes, natural climate change occurs, but the ice caps on the South Pole (or any permafrost, for that matter) are not supposed to be melting. I trust you can at least do your own ‘research’ into why it’s bad when that happens. And no, middle aged dimwits on Substack are not going to replace genuine fucking scientists, who’ve devoted their lives to these matters. And if you’re going to tell me that ‘Antarctica has gained ice’ just read this: https://www.climate.gov/news-features/features/despite-antarctic-gains-global-sea-ice-shrinking

“are not supposed to be melting”. Who decided this? Currently, retreating glaciers in the alps are revealing forests that were crushed after the last glacial advance (I assume during the Maunder Minimum) - was that “supposed to happen”?

Too bad you've fallen for conspiracy theories pushed by the MAGA crowd. Thanks for the link to the Times article. I found it quite enlightening. It made more sense than your attempt at denial of climate change. The "comments" attached to the Times article were were spot on.
