Thank you Joel🙏 Here in the States, we still struggle with weights, measures and choices. It seems that all depends on how educated you are. As more children are taught that wrong weighs, measures and choices are correct, moral and right, the more our society falls. As you know, our reality is based fully on our perception. When that perception is corrupted, so are the choices made. As I witness American society today, and have lived through almost seven decades of our wonderful country, it seems more and more clear, that those who choose God over man, and live by his commandments, live a much more peaceful, loving and happy life. Choice 🤔 You can love God, family and country, and live happily ever after, or you can be a democrat, and be a nihilistic, selfish, hateful, delusional person, and wallow in despair…choose wisely 🙏
Here is a little tidbit: even though I took enough history, English, and philosophy classes in college to earn more than one major, it was in my French classes only that we read Montesquieu, Voltaire, and Descartes. I don’t know what that really means other than I’m grateful for my French professors.
I like philosophy and I like truth. It is surprising the understanding and truth that the early Greek Philosophers discovered looking for the essence. They did not have electricity, TV, radio or the internet and the AI fabrications on their cell phones.
Even in the 1930’s 40% of people lived on farms.
We used the laws of nature, physical, the foundation of science.
It would seem that Adam Smith’s invisible hand or Tolstoy’s public opinion is based on the laws of behavior, what Christ would call the word of God.
All that is based on the widest form of human choice, freedom. Freedom to tap into inspiration, Jung’s subconscious where lies win win decisions.
I read an article today, people use credit cards and savings to buy food, 18% pay the minimum amount and 18% can’t pay.
I also read that .01% own 50% of all fixed assets. That means they are the invisible hand; they make all the decisions. The have created Hayek’s “Serfdom” and C S Lewis’s “Abolition of Man.”
That is where the pursuit of self interest devoted to self ends up.
The world has changed in my lifetime. Remember when Mc Donald’s was the name of a proprietorship and there were millions of them and fifty million farms.

Communism is rearing its ugly head; that means, for some, times are malevolent.
Whatever today’s economic reality, it is catastrophic for individuals.
As I reach home plate, I am now convinced that the politician is evil, overcoming the meek. And the meek shall never inherit the earth. Based on history it becomes more evident this is the way of man! No matter how hard he tries, he always submits to his oppressor.
I continue to be astounded by the mistrust that so many have with our mainstream media. Can you in a future critique explain what constitutes "mainstream media?"
Frankly, although no doubt some TV commentators are biased, it's hard for me to grasp that the newspapers I read or the nightly TV news I occasionally watch are deliberately distorting the truth
