Has quite a few laughs, Joel. Thanks for that. One of the best ones was the 97% of scientists coming to a consensus. They agree on what they are paid to believe.
Well it was a great narrative for quite a while and the lefties used it to interrupt progress so I have to give them credit for a great scam but the scam has pretty much run its course and I suspect it is over.
Hey my friend;don't laugh. Chicken little told me that in person. I got the message loud and clear because I'm a chicken too. God's blessings to you and yours.
I check world temperatures, daily, and have perceived a cooling trend in the Southern Hemisphere.
It dawned on me, I don’t know if it’s true or not. In the 80’s, the age of greed, they took over insurance companies and plundered the escrow accounts; it is now pay as you go, unaffordable. They blame the high cost on global warming. Just a thought.
Thanks again Joel for imparting knowledge with such delicious irony. Who’d have thought that climate change was a natural phenomenon, it explains how the Vikings named Greenland ‘Vinland’ and why Britain sometimes experiences Summers! Can’t remember who coined the phrase ‘ when you stop believing in God, you start believing in anything’ but that partly explains the lack of curiosity around whether global warming may be an entirely natural process. Next you’ll be telling us that DEI is dying so what’s next to believe in?!
I asked the AI Copilot if the antarctic sheet was growing. Here's its reply:
Surprisingly, yes—at least for a brief period! Between 2021 and 2023, the Antarctic Ice Sheet actually gained mass, reversing decades of loss. This unexpected shift was driven by anomalous increases in precipitation, particularly in East Antarctica, where four major glacier basins saw significant growth.
However, scientists caution that this trend may be temporary, as it was linked to unusual weather patterns rather than a long-term shift. The Antarctic Ice Sheet remains one of the largest contributors to global sea level rise, so researchers are closely monitoring whether this mass gain continues or if the previous trend of ice loss resumes.
I sleep better at night knowing researchers who can do nothing about the size of the Antarctic ice sheet, or its influence on humankind, are closely monitoring its size.
Alas Joel, the Geoengineers will pop up and loudly proclaim "Success !"
"Cloud Spraying" experiments started in the 1920s, when aircraft could not attain 100mph (unless the wings fell off) and as aircraft technology has improved since, so too have the chemicals. Today 'nanoparticles,' of aluminium and Boron, et al, are used.
When these particles are subject to beamed microwave energy (radar) they become "exited" and heat up. Think of the possibilities for consequent weather modification, and how these events are used to 'prove' that weather disaster is nigh, and the need for carbon sequestration.
Modern jet engines are so efficient that they rarely produce condensation trails: what we think are "con trails" are chem trails. These spread out into a thin haze that sheilds mother Earth from the nasty sunlight and keeps her cool ! Now aint that cute !
Geoengineering is done all over the globe by large civilian and military aircraft. Handling of the chemicals require Hazmat suits. But it doesn't have anything to do with bee mortality, or Altzheimers. Of course.
This is a subject worthy of research and exposure.
Good article, but don't write off a general rise in temperatures, and the resulting ocean levels, even if it's cause is not man-made. Temperatures have been rising for the past few thousand years. After the worldwide Flood, there was an ice age. The ice sheets were miles high in some parts of North America and Europe. The ice sheets eventually melted, and ocean levels did rise. I have been telling this to people for years, and finally saw an article in The Atlantic, of all places. It was a reprint of the article from here: https://hakaimagazine.com/news/memories-of-the-end-of-the-last-ice-age-from-those-who-were-there/ What does cause environmental changes, then? Yes, it is man. What brought about the Flood was man's wickedness, see Genesis 5: 5-13. God's universe was designed for people that have His spirit of agape in them. If they do not have that, the environment will reflect that. The text does say that God would destroy the earth and man, but please understand that God is sovereign, and is taking responsibility for everything that happens. If you jump off a tall building, you will likely die, but God didn't make you jump. God tried to save our antediluvian ancestors through Noah's preaching, but they would not listen, so only the ones that listened were saved. Yes, the ‘global warming’ hysteria is a delusion, but due to the prophecies of Maniilaq, the Eskimo prophet, I would not rule out the further rise of ocean levels. https://revelado.org/maniilaq.htm. (Ignore the part about vaccines, that part is not inspired.) Big changes are coming to our planet, even mountains being moved out of their place. Revelation 6:14. That’s at the very end, though. Which may be sooner than anyone thinks.
Another totally enjoyable article. I'm just intelligent enough to (almost) follow your ability to express the unexpressable. I am definitely a Dear Reader.
I don't suppose it's occurred to anyone that Antarctic temperatures were once so cold, snow accumulation was minuscule. I was predicting that a warming atmosphere would carry more moisture and thereby increase the Antarctic snowpack 30 years ago. Duh!
Here in Southcentral Alaska, we are two to three weeks warmer for our growing season than when I arrived 50 years ago, and permafrost melting north of us is affecting roads, streams, buildings and much of our Arctic coast. We're at climate change ground zero, and it really can't be denied. But perhaps we collectively should ignore any efforts to mitigate the problem until the last sweltering denier has to admit there IS a problem - in the manner that a lung-cancer victim realizes that he shouldn't be smoking...
I think most would agree that cimates are changing. Here over the past 60 years in Southwestern USA, the think the climate has absolutely changed. But climate change is just a fact of life and people have just adjusted to these changes and carried on living according to those changes. The questions are if mankind is responsble for the changes and even more importantly, can we do anything that will budge the global climate one iota. In Bandalier National Monument near Los Alamos, NM, there was once a thriving tribe of natives living as cliff dwellers. For some unknown reason, they just suddenly left the area for parts unknown. Why? They speculate drought forced them to migrate elsewhere. People adapt. They always have. No one is going to die if the temperature rises some. I know because I live in the Phoenix Valley and people thrive here when its over 110F.
We will never combat climate change and instead of wasting money trying to do so, it would be better to spend our resources to mitigate the changes, as humans have done over the centuries.
I read recently about the theory that it is impossible to manufacture solar panels or wind turbines as they inherently use more energy to create, maintain and replace than they produce. Thermodynamics in action ha ha.
What a great article that exposes the reality behind wind and solar energy production. It’s the “rest of the story” that is always neglected to be told.
Thanks for the article. Interestingly, he doesn't give any facts and figures, like the amount of energy required to make the wind turbine, versus the amount it produces. If he did, I missed it. I am more familiar with solar panel electricity. The panels are 20% efficient, for at least 20 years, and the payback period in a system is about 5-10 years. A net gain. The payback period in Britain, where the author of the article you posted lives, would be much more. Location matters. BTW, I never liked wind power, they are an unsightly blot on the landscape. And, I also like nukes and oil. Solar is a bit quieter than a generator, though.
No, I am not truly convinced and I think the laws of thermodynamics is stretched a bit. I am off grid with solar so I appreciate it. The down side is the storage. And wind is not viable for a small system like mine, but there are huge wind farms in South Australia and they are a blot on the landscape. One wind farm was removed recently, company went broke, the towers were removed but the huge concrete blocks were left. What a mess!
Joel your writing is amazing. Today’s script will be hard to better. Thank you for the many big smiles.
Thank you kindly, Datepalm. When it’s smiles or tears, I’m glad to inspire the former. Cheers to you and yours!

I'm gonna use that in friendly conversations!

grow up
And if that‘s not enough to worry about, I’ve heard the sky is falling as well!

Bloody cold Southerly today blowing straight from that Antarctic ice sheet!
At least it is bringing some much needed rain!

It is our monitoring weather This mass gain continues. Translation from my internal AI. They haven't got a clue.

Excellent! And there is no better remark I can think to express my admiration.
Good article! For more on this subject, I recommend Dr. Matthew Wielicki's blog, "Irrational Fear."
It reminds me of Chicken Little
Clearly the internvenous drip on the human psyche is alive and well.
