Thanks to all the well-wishers! Onward and upward, even if a bit sideward. Cheers!

Best wishes and a safe journey.

Your mention of Colonel Drake, know the my great grandfather, three times removed Jonathan Locke was the tool man responsible for his success.

Thanks,

I truly appreciate your bringing to light all the people and factors involved with making modern day flight possible. It is simply mind boggling when you start thinking about it. But when you consider almost any thing we have today that we just take for granted, there is a near miraculous story behind how it all came to be. Even the simple pencil is possible against all odds.

Would like your take on something Doug Casey noted in a recent video. Milei has shipped much of ARG's gold to Europe and also taken out a multi-billion dollar loan from the IMF. Why would he take these steps when they seem contradictory to all he has accomplished thus far?

The gold claims lack context. Check out the following article:

Joel, Glad your injury was minor (sure painfull) but could have been much worse. "Free markets verses Central Planning'. Being as I see the U.S. under the central planning flag, will they someday tell their Bosses who pay them, us Taxpayers, the Grand Plan. Have a safe trip Joel and Family.

Your life is very interesting. Jet fuel is, however, not very “high octane “. It’s basically kerosene. High octane is what enabled the raid on Tokyo. Getting bombers off of aircraft carriers required approximately 140 octane aviation gasoline. They had a hard time figuring out how it was done until one of the old timers pointed that out. ( I know, I’m a real nerd.)😉

Ol' Tongue-Kisser™ Dalai Lama has a gratitude essay that's in a similar thank-you-to-all vibe, good reminder of our interdependence as we push to independence. Yes, to cheap fuel, from down here where we know how to get the stuff and get it to you. Running out of oil? I don't see it happening in my lifetime and my dad spent 43 years bringing it to you and yours. I dig the spirit down there in your reports, Joel, and just gotta get to Borges' cafe one day. Cheers.

I had to do a double take reading your last name Rick. I see that extra i… and I bet we’d have a good laugh hearing how most readers would try to pronounce it 😁. Glad to see another Cajun in here!

Interesting what George says in the clip - I would say such housing regulations are even worse, perhaps significantly so, in our dear home country of Australia... :/

I can only remember vaguely the sheer and utter pain of a rather broken elbow…..ask your doctor to inject a full body pain pill next time it happens, and roll a few whilst your at it in preparation. To steal Mister Brando’s favorite by line ‘oh, the horror’.

Hope you improve quickly sir….
