JOEL, Congratulations for continuing to broadcast this story. Can one man, brilliant as the new president of Argentina may be, survive and prosper. in making these changes? What of the old school politicians and beneficiaries of the socialist system in Argentina? Will they allow this radical new leader to survive the year? I hope he has plenty of loyalists personally surrounding him so that the country will be able to bear the fruit that he is planting? In my reading of history great leaders have constant and dangerous enemies. It took decades and a miraculous group of leaders to launch the U.S.A. Perhaps a few good men and women who are following your essays and reporting will have the courage, energy and good will to step up and step forward.

Personally I'd like to hear deeper reporting from some others who are on the ground and on the firing line. Millei seems to be on the right track traveling to centers of economic power to get his message out. God bless him.

From the ground in Australia. Many of my friends and others who I talk to have completely turned off from general news and television. The Covid debacle changed that very quickly.

My question is once CBDC's are introduced our Freedom as we know it will vanish.

How can WE change this course. De Santis in Florida has banned them maybe we can coerse our Leaders to do the same..

Legitimate concern. And fodder for a future Note. Thanks and stay tuned!

There is such an anti-capitalist movement in the world today that it scares me to think that Sr Milei will be allowed to flourish. Do you know how he protects himself? Will he amend their constitution to protect the people and the governing process from being overrun again by anti-free capitalist cancers? Historically, elites use the laws of a free society to infiltrate her infrastructure and eventually run and ruin her; see the USA. We must rethink how we can build a vehicle to protect herself and her people.

Hey Rich, yes…one worries for Sr. Milei’s safety although, as he mentioned when we saw him speak a few weeks ago in BA, he is working to build a movement that goes beyond one man… to inspire a full-scale cultural change. We’re hoping that momentum continues cross borders, too. Cheers!

“But could it be that these unpopular ideas and radically rational concepts are enjoying a resurgence outside Argentina? “

Be still my heart!

The question is, how are all those parasites who are losing jobs and government largesse taking this? Do they have enough clout to put a Stop to it?

They’re doing their best, but they are losing their grip. And the people are losing patience with their antics. Right now, the former socialist hero, CFK, is despised by her people. They want optimism and freedom…not handouts and government promises. Viva!

The last noted politician who tried even to implement precursors to these ideas, such as peace with the Soviet Union, didn't last more than 1000 days before being assassinated on live television. We need to let this whole rotten structure burn and crumble. It will. It is much too big to survive. Then we can build something new in its place. This newsletter is a love letter to the future.

Argentina might be the first nation in the world to recover from those experiments in malignant socialism. However, the US is long on the way toward entering that phase. And the US may just end up doing the socialism phase much better than the rest of the world. Let's hope not.

On the Princess Cruises ship I am aboard for a world cruise, I’ve encountered two men from Argentina. One does an amazing job manning the dessert bar and the other helps at the customer service desk. Both are college educated and excel in their duties. I’ve privately discussed Argentina and their president, Mr. Milei, with each of them. Both are cautiously optimistic for their homeland and fully support their president and his quest to transform Argentina. I sense something very good is going on at The End of the World.

Joel, in a time when everything has spiraled out of control its good to read about people fighting back peacefully, and winning. I don't think we in the U.S. of A. will have a peace full revolution here when it happens. Hats off to President Milei.

hello Joel

i remember once swimming in the Mediterranean sea off of Sardinia and being totally awestruck swimming among statues submerged on the south side of the island. my german Shepard made childs play of getting in and out of the inflatable we shared that afternoon. i thought i’d never see that view again, but i do over and over again in my mind endlessly capturing it forever.

i see freedom coming again too, my memory reminds me that it’s always there. Sr Milei has evoked a spark hidden far away in the reaches of the world where joy always exists like my Sardinia dive. only this time more so as more people are and will experience that joy, even if it’s another fight. no oppression, only human freedom. The preacher Samuel Francis Smith in the 19th century

first penned ‘Let freedom Ring’ as a beloved song of national gratitude. It existed then and it will exist now eventually. The pilgrims had it right. It’s in our DNA as gods creation. I hear the bells, I do.

have fun down under Maestro. What a beautiful place it is
