Precioso. How lovely for you to have this chance to meander! There is really nothing better than pootling down a river... we are fortunate to have the lovely river Arun here on the south coast of England , which even our hopeless incompetent leaders have not yet managed to ruin, despite sewage and other unmentionables spewing into it . Thank goodness it is one of the fastest flowing rivers....say no more.

The Glass House is interesting. My guess is that the old man loved the view, but hated the mosquitos.

Can’t say that blamed him.

If I had the money I would probably do the same.

Lovely video! It sounded almost they were speaking in German on the loudspeaker. Is that water clean enough for swimming? I love going on adventures with you via camera. My son in Tacoma WA sometimes takes me on his walk with his dog even though I live in San Antonio. Almost as good as being there! BTW people can't swim in the San Antonio River anymore.

Portuguese on the loud speaker (for the many Brazilero tourists visiting BA). The water is fine to swim in, just a lot of sediment from the boat traffic. We love the San Antonio river walk for the restaurants and people watching... would probably not swim in it though!

Hello Joel. I think I subscribed to your notes. I’m pretty sure I paid the fee. Occasionally I get one of your notes. The timing seems random? How often are they supposed to come out and when? I ask because you seeme to have linked a whole weeks worth of which I have seen none.

Can you explain? Thanks!

Dave

Thank you for your historical insight and story on your trip. Poverty is a tough penance, he learned perseverance from his life situation and faith in Providence from his mother….the glass house protects the lessons we all have to some extent in this life. It’s more meaningful than a statue of himself, he knew he was an inherited blessing for his family and likely for his country. I hope the people of Argentina have a better inheritance from their years of organized denial of their worth.

Thanks for sharing a different live than America. I am praying for your new leader and freedom from your oppressive elitist government that you have had, and the USA is handcuffed to; fools and accepting bribes and selling their grandchildren into poverty. I appreciate your sharing
