Thank you Joel for whetting our appetites. Later this year we’ll be in La Belle France 🇫🇷 und Deutschland 🇩🇪. Despite your graphics, the $ to € is dicey. Ça m’est égal. We’ll enjoy ourselves. 😎

What, you ask? It's pretty simple; so simple that most think it has to be something else. Europe has had it's progress, unleashed due to the Reformation. The Renaissance was due to throwing off the soul stifling evils of popery, and embracing the gospel, which is liberty. 2Corinthians 3:17. But, Europe did a retracement. The US was founded on the principle of religious and civil liberty, which is the sole reason for it's success. Almost no one acknowledges that now, and, as you all know, our decline has only just begun. Nevertheless, we are the last real superpower, and most nations will 'kiss the ring' in order to trade with us. When the US will finally repudiate it's core principles and pass religious laws, national apostasy will lead to national ruin, as well as worldwide ruin, and the end of the world will soon follow. Wait for it.

Joel, as I have probably commented too many times before the solution I see is "free minds, free markets and free people" which has been proven to work in Argentina. From what I read in most if not all of the newsletters and 24 hour news is just analyzing statistics and bullshit. No solutions here in the U.S. of A.. Thanks for being a light shining through the darkness. Scott

I always wanted to go to Bordeaux. Hopefully soon. On the GDP front, don't we include Government spending in our GDP figures? Might the massive increase in national debt account for the GDP disparity?

2008 European growth stagnates, I believe overt immigration and the beginning of cultural collisions are very much a part of that blame. Planned destruction of existing national norms and traditions.

We haven't seen anything yet. What's the trigger that will bring down the whole tragic European edifice?

Beautiful archetecture and construction. Too bad their leaders are so vile with their control and removal of freedom and left wing nonsense.

You make an interesting point concerning the economic standing of the average US worker and EU counterpart. However I would ask you to find a better measuring stick than government provided GDP, the calculation of which depends on ever changing exclusions, inputs and magical hueristics. This seems to be akin to describing the dimensions of an object using an elastic band. This usually weakens the point trying to be made. Just sayin'.
