A historic transformation. All those tossed out of the public trough are going to be unhappy. There will be enough of them to frustrate the changes. But if the former communist countries could transform to Free Market economies with initial confusion and no bloodshed, then so too should Argentina be able to transform in the same manner.

Great comment. Milei had also said anyone can protest…but if doing so disrupts the public from going about their business (blocking roads/traffic etc.) those caught will have any welfare payments cut off…

What if Argentina could use the same system that Japan used to rebuild after World War 2 . If I’m not mistaken, the Edward Deming Institute could help with that using his 14 point management system for the government and anybody else. Just wishful thinking on my part who knows you never know.

Wow.

For all the people that love to comment, I am super surprised no one is saying boo about the GREAT things that he has done in 48 hours. Imagine 48 days? Or what he could accomplish in 48 months?

I know Bill has an impact on readers as his most commented articles seem to revolve around what people in the world are doing wrong.

Here's one finally doing something right. And only a handful saying "Yay!"

Well, I for one can't wait to see how he brandishes the only weapon a politician should have at his side. A sword or machete for hacking away the fat.

Bravo Mr. Milei! Bravo! The world is watching!

Let’s hope he does it, or enough to demonstrate less, as in government, is more, as in wealth, for all citizens.
