For up here in the US, your Notes are a fresh breeze carrying hope - and faith that somewhere at least sanity is coming back. We ourselves are waiting with bated breath for November - and then we still have to get through to January 20th. And then beyond. Milei is right, this isn't going to be easy.

It is thrilling to see someone functioning in a political position embrace fully Liberty and demand it for his citizens. Thanks for the update Joel... encouraging.

Looking forward to number 2 edition. I just keep hoping that He succeeds. Actually I pray He succeeds.. Liberty and freedom may not be perfect, no man made system is. but it is the best We have.

Did Milei's recent meeting with US General Richardson bother his supporters? Perhaps it's just my cynicism when it comes to politicians but I do not understand why a so-called anarco-capitalist would align his country with the US. Reagan's quote about "I'm from the government and I'm here to help" definitely applies to the US military. Perhaps someone should tell him what Kissinger said: To be an enemy of America can be dangerous, but to be a friend is fatal. Richardson freely speaks of the need to control resources in South America, neither she nor the US government give a rat's ass about Argentina.

I think a healthy dose of skepticism/cheerful cynicism is called for. Love that Kissinger quote!

Thanks for the reply. I hope it works out for the people of Argentina. If Milei is successful it could provide a roadmap for the US. If the dollar were to lose its world reserve currency status we will need all the help we can get. A final thought: I find it amusing that Reagan is remembered for saying that it's terrifying to hear "I from the government and I'm here to help". I guess that only applied to domestic policies. His government essentially told the military regimes in Central America: We're from the government and we're here to help you maintain control.

In the words of some bloke from work... You can only use the one you've got.

There are certain realities about short run, medium run, long run. I have come to realize you can't just set it all on fire and the reality is that marching back through the institutions is likely the best way forward. Even I'm developing a touch of pragmatism from the touch of Serenity the Good Lord has finally granted me. The US is still the last great hope for the world, for now. Although I am starting to believe that perhaps the South America and The American South may end up being that.

I describe perhaps my ultimate Political Being as something along the lines of Trump International Policy and Milei Domestic. The US is massively powerful and can basically do as it pleases. Could snap it's fingers tomorrow and fix the world simply by refusing to trade or making it very difficult to trade with certain Nations. Yet. It refuses to do so. Wonder why... Argentina does not have that luxury. Milei is also a neophyte politically despite his economic skill. Lets not forget we all need to fear a few thousand pounds of Good Ole American Freeedom coming our way should they be upset. Metaphoric or literal pounds.

Long Live Freedom Dammit!

One has to assume Milei is continuing building an enormous number of enemies who have lost status, wealth and cashflow.

Is their realistically sound protection from this seething mass of snakes & associates as he continues to win and show they are wrong.

A mafia gang typically has many mechanisms to take out one individual and even his deputies.

Is there more than just one rainmaker/leader/dynamo, to keep the train on track?

If this engine driver, cum-navigator and unorthodox rockstar is taken out and there are no clones, it’s not hard to see a diabolical civil war, where typical military opportunists take control.

Excellent comment…and a common concern. I’ll address this more fully in future Notes, but as he mentioned himself during the weekend’s conference, the movement has to go beyond just one person. It must be a cultural shift. More to come…

Exactly the government does it to us all in the name of doing for us! Wake up, speak up, and stand for true liberty and representation.

In contrast to the lie; ' I'm from the government and I've come to help you' makes one want to run a mile or simply throw up.

I understand Milei admires Trump. Too bad. He should read some of the many books about the man written by insiders.

There are blind spots, of course, but I think overall the trajectory is correct. Part two will have more of his undergirding philosophy. Stay tuned…

Right. And I'm sure every word they wrote was true. Can't possibly have anything to do with a bunch of losers trying to cash in on the guy's name. Just sayin"...

I've now read 21 books about Trump - 3 were positive, the rest negative. I voted for Trump twice, but that was before I found out what a charlatan he is. His chief of staff for over a year, John Kelly, had this to say about Trump: "He is the most flawed person I have ever met in my life,” the retired Marine general has told friends.

Joel, I'm thoroughly enjoying your messages from the front line. The Socialists have used our societal tolerance to effectively destroy our Liberty. Like prior generations, we need to spit venom on these miscreants and treat them like the Lepers they are!

Thank you joel...appreciate the first hand account and the boots on the ground reporting.

Would like to contribute financially to your publication, but feel the asking price is a bit steep.

Consider an option somewhere in the middle and I am in.
