Joel, Offhand, I don't know anyone who heaps scorn more eloquently!

France lost to Spain because of climate change.

Naturally. That, and racism.

Joel, Joel, Joel…where to start?

First of all those kia in Houston were probably not strangers to violence and probably earned they just deserts. Gene pool maintenance.

Second I am relieved to know that other societies can produce newsies who can put the US version to shame (as if that were possible). I thought we were leading the race to the bottom.

Finally, our only friends who still watch the “major” networks are in a kind of thrall to TDS and lap up every opportunity to blame Trump so global warming/flooding guilt is really misdemeanor level stuff. Lord knows the Donald is far from perfect. He was, however, the least bad option both times he won. So our friends who tilt left can only blame their poor selection process. Some are so committed to “Trump be the devil” that they have no counter just hate.

Fopdoodle! Never seen that one before. As Gordon noted, a most eloquent hit piece on the non-journalistic spewings of legacy (in this case Australian) media.

Thank you for continuing to expose the fopwads, er, fopdoodles, of major media for their asinine prattling.

Thank you. I have now added the word “fopdoodle” to my vocabulary. I have plenty of uses for it.

As for climate change, it’s wreaking havoc in my garden… especially when I forget to water it. And now I discover it’s fostering a child bride epidemic. Is there no end to the destruction we Americans have unleashed upon the world?

Bravo, Mr. Bowman, bravo! Only, the useless idiots (eaters), wouldn't agree more with that undeniable diatribe.

Your chain has been brutally ripped from its socket this time; sorry about the chain; but very well said.

We must unite in confronting misogyny in all its forms—challenging both the ancient prejudices that continue to be perpetuated and the modern atrocities that remain ongoing today.

In my travels to northern Kenya I learned much about Samburu tribal culture, where girls are married to elders at a young age, preceded by FGM. There, it is possible to understand if not accept, the old ways, where the women participate in the outrage; where, finally, an intrusion of modern culture is leading to positive change. Perhaps climate-change, caused by those Caucasian tourists, is bringing about these reforms!? No no, I must begrudgingly remind myself that Western culture is intrinsically to blame, and those beefs pizzles of the press were right all along. Of course they are...

I think your treatises are getting a little long. I love them but would appreciate a little shorter version. Just a friendly suggestion, Joel.

You got me at "One can only imagine the imminent surge of misogynist monsoons, white supremacist squalls, transphobic tsunamis and cisgender cyclones boiling on the horizon of the author’s short-circuiting imagination."

Ambrose Bierce would be proud.

Love it. Too bad Claire will never know; however, she probably would misunderstand and mispronounce most of your words. :)
