It's always good to hear freedom is winning somewhere. For the life of me I cannot understand why anyone would choose lesser freedom and promises from government.

Yes Mac, none of us who actually work and produce for ourselves can understand anything coming from the party of mental illness 🤔 We can only Assume that those who Don’t work and only produce most of our crime, cannot understand Freedom due to sucking off of us from birth to death and by keeping themselves ignorant, really don’t care about freedom, only freestuff.🤔

Certainly some truth to that.

With a population of about 47 million people, Canada with a population of about 40 million people should be able to do the same as Argentina. Where are Our politicians? One has to ask . There is the pattern set out for all to see. Thanks for the notes today!

Lo de Jesus. Great spot! During our first visit to BA a couple of weeks ago, my wife and I had a great meal there. Highly recommend.

I don't think your inflation rate month to year is correct. 25%/mo is much greater than 286%/yr. and 2.4% to 66% doesn't seem right either.

Here’s the yearly rate, measured per month:

https://www.indec.gob.ar/uploads/informesdeprensa/ipc_03_25A3D34A2439.pdf

High was back in April last year (see pg.4) The yearly rate lags monthly changes, which are sharper and more immediate. Takes a while for the highs and lows to work their way through the pipeline.

The monthly high was Dec ‘23, the month Mile took office. Has been going down, almost month by month, since.

25% was the monthly rate in Dec/23’. Yearly was quoted from April/24’. Not sure how the yearly was toted.

My sense is that the folks in Argentina are far more resilient and patient than the Americans of today have become. I‘m suspect that 70 years under a socialist system helped contribute to those qualities. We up north have become so accustomed to the good life that we have lost appreciation for our many blessings and are unable to weather a storm. All the demonstrations across our nation on Saturday are evidence of this. Half, or more, of the citizens are having a meltdown and the pain of change has hardly even begun.

Joel, Thank you for your updates on the Riviera of the south. I look forward to them. A pity more governments do not follow Milei's playbook - the world would be a richer place. On the USA I think people are misunderstanding the man who is the master of the deal. The controlled dismantling of the financial system with tariffs may in time prove to be a master stroke. It will cause a lot of US investors to chase supposed safe havens - government bonds (of which $10 trillion to be rolled over in the next 12 months). I suspect that phones are running hot with nations that have high tariffs with the thread - buy our bonds and we will negotiate a lower tariff. This does two things - help roll over the bonds plus continue to keep the US dollar as the world's reserve currency.

Aust 26+ million will know whether we change track on Saturday night May,3.

With our equal two biggies politically playing cat and cat, it’s every likelihood we as a country continue down the route of Left Wing decay and Marxist alchemy..

The wanton destruction we have experience in a Lucky Country under three years of anarchy is unforgivable!

We need thousands of chainsaws and the complete dismantling of climate change energy actions about to cause an upsurge in chaos.

One difference for us EVERYONE on the electoral roll MUST Vote or get fined!

Great in theory, right?

Problem is 20% have not a clue who to vote for or what it’s about.

Trash their votes on independents who are complete idiots, WITHOUT exception.

Joel, I agree with Don, where are our politicians ! Where are the people who have the power to change the picture, us. I believe they are too busy sucking off the government as Steve says. Also they think belonging to one party or the other (republicans or democrats) will be their saving grace. In my opinion both parties are part of the same criminal enterprise, who's only intent is more power, control and to steal as much as they can from the people. Maybe Trump's programs will bring us some light at the end of the tunnell.
