A humble retired teacher can explain why Trump won. There were plenty of people who were afraid to say how they felt out loud because all opposition to the transgender, rights of immigrants to be housed and given cell phones, and any opposition to the woke agenda, was viewed as hate speech. So people like me were silent, and didn’t answer ANY polls. All those woke people with nonsense agendas were just talking to themselves and trying to force their ideas on half the people in the country that just go to work everyday, try to buy groceries, and mind their own business.
taken under the guise that Polymarket is not licensed for gamblers within the United States. All international vets are good, but they suspect. There were some Americans on the site. There probably were.... I did not bet, but I had friends who made a handsome money on this.. A perfect example of oppressive government and over-regulation. Were they sniffing his girlfriend's panties? Maybe his dirty underwear. He's a game changer let's crush him.
Exactly. Violence is the language and currency of the State; we should not be surprised when it squeals and squanders it, but rejoice that it thus reveals its true nature for us to see.
Matt Gaetz has been appointed Attorney General. Now, I don't know much about all this very arcane stuff - but all the right people are furious. It's a bit encouraging, at least. Now, we can see what Musk and Milei come up with.
That man F. Hayek sure had His noodle in the right place. His observations about the economy and mans thinking seem to hit the nail on the head all the time. Thanks for the thoughtful thoughts J.B.
The pick for Treasury is going to be critical to determining whether anything like a Milei policy is adopted. It doesn't look good. Both of the main contenders, Lutwick and Bessent, are billionaire Wall Streeters who are highly incentivized to keep keep the money spigot open....
That's one of the reasons I knew Trump would win; the odds in Vegas were in his favor. The other reason was black men saying f*** obama, in response to his campaigning for Harris, and puerto ricans saying they will vote for Trump, after the comedians 'garbage' joke. Here's another prediction: this is only a reprieve. We are not going to have a 'Golden Age,' and are still headed for Revelation 13. As a reminder, God finally "persuaded" Jonah, the reluctant prophet, to preach Ninevah's downfall. They repented, and they did not fall - till one or two centuries later. There is only one possible outcome for our selfish nature - goodbye to life forever. But, God will live forever, and if we receive God's spirit, which is agape, we will also live forever. Death will merely be a sleep. But those still alive at the end will live forever, the 144,000, and those with them.
Number 1 is definitely true, but if the universe includes earth, not so much - unless you have enough money. But even then, no guarantees. As for number three, yes, you can do that to some degree. But people that thought they could fly off a tall building have tested the limits of that theory, and failed.
It's hard to believe the FBI came to Mr. Cohen's house to take his phone and other electronic devices because his firm picked Trump to win. Baffling too is why the FBI didn't explain why they took what they did.
"But a bazooka is no match for a swarm of bees." Wow, Joel, what a metaphor. Perfect. On his way out the door, someone should tell Joe Biden that. Of course, his mush brain would never grasp the irony. Thanks again for all you do.
Joel, Mr. Coplan must be a political terrorist ,which makes him not a law-abiding citizen under the Patriot Act (no need for a warrant if one was not procured). Great essay Joel, it covered much ground. I could go on, but won't,, your research was right on.
Love the Hayek quotes. The spontaneous order is one of those incredible beauties of nature. It needs to be taught as such from the first lesson to the young. It is part of life and why it is so prolific.
“In the last analysis, the essential thing is the life of the individual. This alone makes history, here alone do the great transformations take place, and the whole future, the whole history of the world, ultimately springs as a gigantic summation from this hidden source in individuals.”

It Is my understanding that the action was

Really enjoyed this one, good sir!

I’ve condensed my beliefs down to 3. Much easier to digest.
God is a good God.
The Universe is a friendly place.
I create my own reality.
God is Great! The Universe is an incredibly violent place, but not as violent as Chicago and we live by our choices, which creates our own reality 🤔
It's only violent here; the rest of God's people are at peace, and looking intently at what is happening here. To them, this planet is a dreary place.

Thanks Joel. Love the quotes from Hayek... ahhh, what the world needs now is humility, sweet humility...
Reading Borges, watching "Gilda" for the 88th time, can I move to Buenos Aires now? (another great piece, Joel!)
For more re Hayek and further like examples going on you might find https://explorersfoundation.org/ of interest.

his firm didn't pick either candidate, it's all peer-to-peer. FBI seems to smell a rat where there's only kitty kats
