I raise a feeble hand in celebrating your article on Operation Black Flag....I'm just too burnt-out from all the outrage I've felt over a long time about the political trend in the USA to summon up the energy to actually cheer your take on events. "What will be will be" is my spent attitude, but it still hurts mightily to see what's coming. At nearly 79 years old I'm done fighting it all and protesting it mightily. Let others do it. I'm now enjoying the sunny day and my small life and thankful to God for the days I've lived. To hell with the country and those elected by the many who still trust government. I've stopped giving money to politicians. They are such dufuses. Government is a parasite. Even state government. I'll read about Argentina as you describe it and hope that it doesn't become just another unrealized freedom fantasy. A small ray of hope exists in me that it might not be smothered and crushed by the next group of control freaks.
Nancy i can concur with Your feelings. The USA is not the only country with government that ruins all our lives. It seems all countries, most countries have problems with the ruling classes. I am not quite as old as You, only 74 and that is why I can feel Your feelings. Watching is hard on a person that cares for all of humanity. Mostly starting at Your home Country.
I see nothing but a black flag for the world. Not only North America. Government of all kinds just run amuck over their citizens, who usually will not wake up until the black flag is raging war. So sad for humanity. Well maybe Argentina has a chance to avoid, maybe.
Joel, Great article, it sums up the U.S. of the people's nonchalance about our Government in general. I just watched "AMERICA, The Story of Us" made by the History Channel . Thru the years there was always a challenge for the people, so maybe our modern day challenge is to take back our Governments for the people, before the Black Flag waves.
While this Note is so truthful, it is also quite depressing. I feel like I’m powerless as an individual, even though I might protest as much as a person can, but in the end I’m just along for the ride.
No apologies needed or required. Certainly not to Bonner. Or you. Trump is nailing it with the border, the military, and many other things. Many other things. Rolling back the leftist lunacy is LONG overdue.
Line by line, task by task, Trump has many minuses, and he has plus signs too. In summary, I’m glad we have an active pusher—though perhaps rash at times—who is making changes instead of endless years of consensus-building meetings. Just my opinion. GO TRUMP GO!
We’ve just had a socialist verging Marxist government 3 day Roundtable in our national capital on Improving National Productivity.
The consensus of about 30 leaders of government, their agencies, industry reps and other know-alls concluded by government convenors that they should find new ways to increase taxes.
The Black Death of the 21st technology advanced century and in the era of improved armoury, to thus oblige our elected dictators in carrying out social destruction as fast as possible.
It appears as time goes by, that China becomes more capitalistic as the US becomes more socialistic. As passengers on spaceship Earth, all we can do is hope that this sort of convergence, which seems to be in direct opposition to the stark partisan divisions that are accelerating within, will somehow produce a level of peaceful accommodation, both within and without.
I'm now too old to credibly hoist any Black flags. Hell, Although, I'm only a 72-year-old BB, I'm even too old to see any real merit in putting out virtue signaling yard signs at the end of my driveway or strutting around in a MAGA hat.
I do, however, cheer on Trump, but mostly because he so good at chafing those who love to hate, have an overly high opinion of themselves, yet wear what is actually base class envy on their sleeve. All now best understood as simply great entertainment. Salute'!
Everyone wants things to get "better." Can things get better with the same selfish attitude of our leaders - and us - that guaranteed things would get worse? What if they won't, and can't, get better? I may as well also point out the elephant in the room - all of you know we're going to die someday, right?
When I was in PC, Honduras, 1969, I realized they would never have the money to build a telephone system. Cell phones solved the problem.
Rockefeller believed he was an instrument of God and oil was a gift God had given humanity. It was his job to develop it. He brought kerosine from $6. To $.06 a gallon, transported it around the world and transformed everything. Without oil the modern economy would not exist. He retired in his 50’s and every time someone wanted to sell stock in Standard oil, he bought it. He believed in oil and had developed it by incorporating individual producers into one company enticing the knowledgeable, efficient, hardworking ones with stock in the company.
Ford developed and mass produced an eternal combustion engine and car and used gas till then a byproduct of oil. Rockefeller became the richest Man.
He started charitable foundations: Black Colleges, The University of Chicago and cured hookworm. These foundations still exist adulterated, run by WOKES.
The fruits of Rockefeller’s endeavors are tremendous. He still gets vilified.
I read an article about electricity, in Pakistan, haphazard; 30 million have no electricity. They do not have the ability to produce a stable electric grid. They could have if they had the will, discipline, and knowledge.
Rich people are putting solar on roofs and batteries in garages.
This ensures that they will never have the will or money to produce an efficient grid that enhances the general population.
Rockefeller and oil produced a great good. Solar ensures that a good portion of the world’s people will remain in the dark.
Since Biden or whoever gave our monies plus much more to private industry. Maybe it is the only way to get some back by owning some Intel. I to don't think the government should stay out of private business. just Barry saving of GM by screwing the bondholders. Hopefully we can get some payback and then get out. Of course I have bridge in Brooklyn I'll sell you real cheap
Frankly, since the government has long since meddled in the market with its periodic grants, then I'd rather it do so by taking equity for our dollars.
Our panoply of governments (thousands of mostly local governments but also fifty states and one avaricious Federal government) already know how to make a buck.
They have a long history of snatching and selling property from hapless individuals who fail to pay various taxes or assessments.
When they sell what they seized, many of these thousands of governments keep the profit.
Thanks for your comments. I tend to think that I'm the only Libertarian in Southern Maine...so it's good to know that there are others "out there" here and there who think and feel as I do. Yes, we shall see what is required of us all as earth rotates and circles the sun.
Another depressing one. I like your videos better - as I look at the other comments, I see I'm not alone. What was the name of that beautiful beach in Australia? Something Road. Now that was nice!

Right back at you, Nancy! I am tired of it all. Let’s see what we are all required to do in the coming crisis.

I think it has become quite obvious that Trump is certainly no fiscal conservative; spending taxpayer money like a drunk Democrat.
I accept your apology on behalf of Mr. Bonner.

Go Trump Go…
JB
Hard to hit “like” on such a sordid state of affairs and its trajectory towards the abyss.
But! … Great work connecting dots that most of us would have easily missed.
Your return to and time “down South” is obviously agreeing with your intellect and observations.
Even if it is having to tell some very uncomfortable truths
Have a great weekend.

He. MR. T. is also good at getting "air miles".
It’s OK here in Ozzie country.

More popcorn please.
Thank you for the Masterpiece.
My opinion:
“MANIC COMPASSION” for the uncertain environment continues to lead to certain Financial Suicide. Thank you Sir.
