Joel Bowman with today’s Flâneur from the Road Sand…
Empires… currencies… long summer days, from Hanoi to Houston and beyond…
All good things must come to an end… eventually.
We’re bidding adieu to good friends today, dear reader, preparing to set forth on the penultimate leg of our annual summer migration. Home, despite being down at the other end of the Americas, is almost in sight…
Meanwhile, we leave you with a rather windy wandering along the white sands of Siesta Beach, here in Florida. It will be in the low 40s when we arrive in Buenos Aires later this week… and these warm coastal zephyrs will feel like they blew in from another world.
Until next time…
Cheers,
Joel Bowman
P.S. Apologies to Dear Reader Judy for the poor panning (in the video, above)… we’ll pick up a gimbal on the way home. Promise!
