There is so much beauty to behold in BA. Lots of opulence from days past. At some point, I would like to see how the average citizen lives to gain a more broad perspective of what life is like in Argentina. How does the typical family living in the countryside live?

It is terrible how the masses do not know their country's history. That would enable them to see how terrible some rulers will be for themselves, marxists and authoritarians. So simple but it is amazing that society cannot see this. The government cannot improve the lifestyle of the people. These central planners again and again and again produce poorer societies.

I am not a tax-the-rich kind of guy, but looking at such unbridled opulence I always find myself wondering "how many people died of hunger and disease while this treasure trove just sat there?" Not judging, just wondering.

Probably not many, Argentina was still doing pretty good then. Most rich people earned their money honestly, so more power to them. What they do with it is between them and God, not me.
