It looks a lot like the streets of Marrakech. I can sympathize, I broke my foot getting off the plane, and my wife pushed me around in a wheelchair through out
Morocco, for 3 weeks. It was either that or go home.
A street of multi ladies dress shops so many hung up high, like flags to honour their many female citizens.
A thoroughfare dedicated to human mobile traffic, where four-legged one donkey power truck and motor chariots, are intruders, to be ignored as verging on uncivilised aliens.
A picture story snapshot with no need for words, demonstrating their normality, human civility and a way of getting along without agro or anger, almost tranquil except for a irritated motor-horn now and then interrupting the human buzz.
Egypt is a failed state, though a picturesque one. If they didn't have tourists, they would be a lot worse off. All the other nations are failed states as well, by the way. If the Founders had not set up our system of government as they did, we would also be a failed state. Give it a little more time...
Yes, I agree. Looking forward to hearing his perspective. He is still young but has been here and there plus watching the massive changes in the Paris of the South. Being interesting..........
I hate crowds but it still looks magical and exotic! I wonder if you are visiting are you best advised to wear similar garb to those on the streets, or do you still wear your american shorts and a polo given the temperatures?
A few brave women even had uncovered heads.

Wow! What a heroine! In Australian lingo, we say she’s a “keeper.”(Sorry about the foot!)

Wondrous, thank you!
