We’ve had all the important debates with today’s special guest. And plenty of unimportant ones, too.
We first met Robert Marstrand back in 2010, shortly after relocating from our far-flung outpost of Taipei, Taiwan, to our farther-flung outpost of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
At the time, Rob was serving as the investment director for a familiar (to readers of these pages) financial publication. We shared an office with Rob and, over the course of no few unhurried lunches, threshed out many of the questions we attempt to make sense of in these Notes.
